SAC to host BABAO Conference 2016

The School of Anthropology & Conservation is delighted to be hosting the 16th Annual Conference of the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology.

The conference will take place between Friday 9th and Sunday 11th September in Woolf College, consisting of podium and poster sessions. Confirmed keynote speakers are:

  • Bioarchaeology, Forensic Anthropology, Archaeological Science – Professor Clark Spencer Larsen (The Ohio State University, USA)
  • Primatology – Professor Louise Barrett (University of Lethbridge, Canada)
  • Evolutionary perspectives on human behaviour – Professor Michael Gurven (University of California, Santa Barbara, USA)
  • Paleoanthropology, Zooarchaeology, Paleolithic Archaeology – Dr Matthew Tocheri
    (Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History, USA; Lakehead University, Canada)

Abstract submissions, 200 words maximum, are invited from March 1st to July 1st.
