‘My Wild Kent’ Photo Competition now open.

The Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) is running a nature photography competition to showcase Kent’s beautiful green spaces and amazing wild plants and animals. It is open to anyone living in the county and participants are encouraged to submit photos to show what they love about Kent’s wildlife and natural places.

There are two age categories for submission, one for 16 and over, the other for 15 and under. The winner of each category will receive £100 and a Wildwood Photo Day (worth £75), with £50 going to the runner-up. There are also prizes available for ‘highly commended’ entries. Entry details and full competition rules are available here.

The competition is funded through the generosity of the University of Kent’s 50th Anniversary fund and The Wildwood Trust.
