PhD student Carin Tunaker’s film ‘Homeless Youth’ will be previewing at the Digibury Weekender conference at the Gulbenkian Theatre this Saturday (18th October).
The short version of Carin’s film, made in collaboration with Porchlight, looks at the complex issues faced by young homeless people in Canterbury and follows their journeys as they find their voice through the film making process.
The official launch of the film, showing the full version, will take place on the 5th November from 4-6 (venue TBC) and will gather together the young people who feature in the film.
This event is followed, on the 12th November, by Porchlight’s homelessness conference where Carin will be presenting her report on LGBTQ Youth Homelessness (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Questioning).
