Dr Simon Black’s research on the Barbary Lion and Moroccan Royal lions features in a new National Geographic children’s book

Dr Simon Black’s research on the Barbary Lion and his development of the European studbook for Moroccan Royal lions features in a new National Geographic children’s book “Mission: lion rescue”, which is part of a new activity book series on animal conservation. Simon will also be presenting studbook management at the Association of British & Irish Wild Animal Keepers big cat workshop on 10th September. Simon will also conduct several public talks on Barbary lions which are scheduled across the UK over the coming year, including a local event at the Powell-Cotton Museum in March 2015.
