Society of Economic Botany Conference

More than 20 staff, students and alumni of Kent’s Ethnobotany programme attended the 54th Annual Conference of the Society of Economic Botany in Plymouth June 27-July 2nd, including co-founder of the programme, Sir Iain Prance, former Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Along with presented papers by many Kent participants, Phd Students, Laura Rohs and Jan van der Veld organized a well attended workshop on Trade in Medicinal Plants, and many attended the meeting of the European Chapter of the SEB.
