Anthropology Careers Workshop: Opportunities after Graduation

Wednesday 19 February Eliot LT2 (1-4pm)

As part of our commitment to helping you use your anthropological training post graduation we have organized a special workshop to look at the opportunities and challenges in the current job and careers climate. We have an exciting lineup of alumni and staff who will speak about the challenges and opportunities of using their anthropological skills in jobs post graduation.

They will give concrete practical tips and speak about some of the challenges of the current job market and how they overcame them. We will discuss how to best market the skills anthropology provides.

The format will be short panel presentations around key themes. There will be many opportunities for discussion, debate and asking questions. Please arrive by 1pm.

A representative from the careers service will also speak about assistance they can provide. We will also be introducing new mentoring possibilities organized by an alumni who has experience in many different areas of business and the arts.
