Dr David Henig awarded highly competitive research grant

Dr David Henig, Lecturer in Social Anthropology, has been awarded a highly competitive Post-Ph.D. Research Grant by the Wenner-Gren Foundation, to aid research on ‘Indigenous modernity in the Pamirs: Re-evaluating traditional environmental knowledge in Post-Soviet Tajikistan’. The project will be based and logistically supported by the Centre for Social Anthropology and Computing (Prof. Michael Fischer).
