Review of Helen Newing’s Book – “Well written and student focused”

In a recent book review by Paul Scholte in Biological Conservation, Helen Newing’s book “Conducting Research in Conservation: A Social Science Perspective/Social Science Methods and Practice” was described as “Well written and well structured” and as a “near-perfect textbook for research-oriented masters in Conservation Biology” with a “thorough approach”.

The book is an excellent academic resource for all involved in Conservation Biology but particularly research students. Other academic staff from SAC, who have contributions in this book include Christine Eagle, Raj Puri and Bill Watson.
