Ethnobotany of the Hearth and Home, Will McClatchey

Dr Will McClatchey (Botanical Research Institute of Texas) gave the 12th Annual Kew-Kent Distinguished Ethnobotanist Lecture at Kew Gardens in London on October 11th. His paper on Ethnobotany of the Hearth and Home demonstrated the resilience of plant knowledge among various populations of students, farmers and islanders from Thailand to the Solomon Islands, Hawaii and Texas. The annual lecture kicks off the Kent-Kew MSc Ethnobotany Programme.
