The REF21 results are in!

  • 80% of publications were rated as world leading or internationally excellent, with the proportion of world leading publications increasing from 20% to 42%. Read the full summary.

Going Above and Beyond

  • It is such an honour to receive a Kent Union Above and Beyond nomination from our students, thankyou for each one! See the full list of recipients here.
  • Ten weeks of intense work culminated in a virtual presentation of posters from six student teams participating in this inaugural competition. Huge congratulations to Tiara English, Alina Sendrea and Ashley Chong of Team Kent Cogniscance, for taking the runners up spot at the Association for Business Psychology ‘Biz Psych Cup’! Read more.

  • The Class of 2021 had their studies interrupted by lockdowns and hybrid teaching, waiting a year for their graduation. It made their achievements and their celebrations even more joyful. As you can see here!

We’re looking forward to…

  • We’re making exciting changes to its Psychology Bachelor degrees starting from the 2022/23 academic year. Dr Dinkar Sharma, Director of Education, and Professor Robbie Sutton, Head of School tell us more. 
  • The School is holding another Psychological Science Afternoon for the community. There will be talks, hands-on demonstrations and panel discussions –come along! Invite your friends!
  • Helping businesses to achieve their net zero goals; we’re taking part in this series of workshops as part of The Net Zero Pathway for Change programme.
