Celebrating the Class of 2021

They had their studies interrupted by lockdowns and hybrid teaching, and have had to wait a year for their graduation, which made their achievements and their celebrations even more joyful.

It was wonderful to finally be able to celebrate with the Class of 2021 who returned for their belated graduation conferrals in Canterbury Cathedral. We were able to catch up with them informally and raise a toast to their achievements. Particularly because this is the cohort who probably felt the impact of the global pandemic the most on their studies. The difficulties they incurred and the resilience they displayed makes their achievement all the more significant.

Head of School Professor Robbie Sutton announced this year’s prize winners and handed out fist-bumps!
