Introducing the Museum of Imagined Kent! Be prepared to rethink not only everything you thought about Kent, but everything you thought about museums too.
This exhibition has been curated by the MA Curating students at the University of Kent, and will take you on a journey through what you know, and what you didn’t know, about the Garden of England.
- Did you know about Bianca Jagger’s fascination with the traditional Hooden Horses?
- Did you know Kent’s impact on the Abstract art scene of the early 20th century?
- Did you know the part Japan played in shaping Kent’s cultural history?

We can’t wait to welcome you into the Museum of Imagined Kent, in Studio 3 Gallery in the University of Kent’s Jarman building. The exhibition will open to the public on Wednesday 8th May.
