How does the CNS make behavioural choices?

We study the mechanisms by which sensory information is weighted and integrated by the central nervous system prior to manifestation of survival behaviour. This sensory information can derive from a range of external and internal stressors, such as pain, disease, prey-predator encounter and it can shape decision-making and help guide natural animal behaviour.
