A series of events, film discussions, and workshops in association with MEMS.
Open to all undergraduates and postgraduates. This series of summer events develops skills and employability in the rich field of medieval and early modern studies. If you are a first year, you might want to get a taste of how premodern history has shaped the city in which you are studying through the tours or sit back for some relaxed film viewing. If you are a second year, you could pick up some dissertation research topic ideas through the archives or mapping sessions. If you are a third year or postgraduate, you may get some ideas for career development through the workshops in heritage and archives. All sessions are open to all. Please get in touch with the named event convenors below or s.ivanic@kent.ac.uk if you would like further details.
