We have added a new Anti-Bribery eLearning module to our Staff Training Moodle site
The purpose of this Anti-Bribery Essentials module is to ensure that all members of staff are aware of the main requirements of the Bribery Act 2010. If the University failed to prevent bribery by its members of staff, it would be committing a corporate offence and therefore it is important that all staff understand the impacts it can have.
It covers;
- What bribery is
- Why it’s such a big problem
- Understanding what is lawful and what is not
- Provision of some challenging case studies
- How to recognise bribery
- How to avoid bribery
The module provides straightforward practical guidance and advice for all but if you want to understand certain aspects in more depth there is an ‘Ask the Expert’ function you can choose.
We advise that ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF undertake the module and anyone can enrol on this module by accessing Staff Training Moodle and then clicking on the red Job Skills category read more button.
The course allows a number of accessible options to be configured by each participant prior to starting the course. This includes colour inversion, adding subtitles and removing audio voice over for slow connections. The course will also explain the navigation through the course
In order to successfully complete the module, you will need to score a minimum of 80% on the quiz.
Once successfully completed staff may download and print off a certificate should they choose to but their completion will link through to their Staff Connect training record (please note there may be a few days delay in this showing on your record).
