Effective Team Communication

You can now book to attend an ‘Effective Team Communication’ session on Wednesday the 29th of April, 10:00-13:00.

The workshop focusses on team communications, including preparing for and holding effective conversations with your team and giving feedback.

It provides a practical approach, utilising interaction, discussion and scenario based activities (both individual and in small groups) as well as giving an opportunity to interact with other managers/supervisors from across the University and share common experience and knowledge.

Objectives:

  • Explore the nature of team communications and understand how and when to use particular communication methods
  • Identify ways to prepare for effectively and confidently provide feedback to staff

Explore practical tips for effective meetings, time management and managing upwards.
