Emma Kelly from the Centre for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships along with Loretta Izod, Kent’s Employee Apprenticeship Manager both were finalist at the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards on Wednesday 5 February.
The East Kent Apprenticeship Awards are a great opportunity to recognise future stars of the workplace as well as businesses and organisations providing apprentices across the area with the opportunity to shine.
Emma and Loretta were both finalists for the East Kent Apprenticeship Champion of the Year award.

Emma Kelly works for the Centre of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships (CHDA) as the Business Development Manager, travelling throughout the UK working with employers to support them as their Apprentices undertaking an Apprenticeship with CHDA.
Professor Scott Wildman, the Director of CHDA, attended the event with Emma and said “It was fantastic to see Emma (Kelly) acknowledged for her tireless support of apprenticeships at the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards. Thank you to EKAA for a fantastic night.”
Loretta Izod is the Employee Apprenticeship Manager for Kent, over the past year there are now 80 employees undertaking an Apprenticeships or have completed one. Loretta is the main point of contact to contact is you are a Kent Employee or a recruiting manager looking to take on an Apprentice. Loretta was nominated by colleagues from the L&OD team in the HR department.
