Professor Samer Bagaeen discusses the response to Covid-19 at Connective Cities virtual event

Professor of Planning, Samer Bagaeen, took part in a panel discussion at the second GIZ (Germany) Connective Cities virtual event, ‘Infection Chains and Mobile Testing‘. Public health colleagues from China, including Dr. Wang Jun, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, joined Professor Bagaeen in the discussion. Samer discussed the Brighton and Hove experience, reflecting on how the city and England responded to the pandemic between 11 March right up to the present day.

The session, which look place on Tuesday 24 November, offered cities and municipalities the opportunity to exchange their experiences and successful strategies about infection spreading, infection chains, test strategies and mobile clinics.
