Meet with key members of staff from partners to junior lawyers, hear about the work that they do and the work experience they offer. There will be an informal networking session where you can ask any questions you have about a career in the legal field.
Boys & Maughan Solicitors is a provincial solicitor’s firm with 163 staff and partners, practising at its main office at India House, Hawley Street, Margate and from a number of branches in Kent. In Hawley Street, the firm maintains units specialising in family law and childcare and Litigation. They also act as agency solicitors at Thanet County Court. In addition to their position as the leading local conveyancing practice, they offer extensive professional experience in the local magistrates’ and county courts.
This visit is for you if:
- you are interested in working for a regional firm
- you are interested in this particular firm
- you have not yet had an opportunity to see inside a law firm office
The trip is open to law students (first, second, final and postgraduate level). Due to the limited spaces available, interested students will need to apply via a short application form on the link below. Applications are open until Sunday 26 April. Places will be confirmed after the deadline date, and those who are awarded a place will be given a space on a coach which will travel from the Canterbury campus to the firm.
The coach will be departing from the Canterbury campus at approximately 12:45 pm, returning at 5:30 pm on 27 May.
