Members of the Kent Law Clinic team delivered a free and fascinating insight into the merits of getting involved with real casework when they delivered one of the webinars in Kent Law School’s new ‘Summer of Law’ series.
Hosted by Law Clinic Coordinator India Hughes, the webinar, entitled ‘How to learn from law in action’, featured Solicitors Philippa Bruce and Vivien Girling together with Director Graham Tegg.
After a brief introduction to the Law Clinic, the team talked about some of the casework they’d been tackling during lockdown before opening up an interactive discussion of legal issues brought to light during the pandemic.
The Summer of Law is a free programme of Zoom webinars hosted by Kent Law School academics. The series is open to anyone with an interest in studying law and offers a taste of the legal topics you can study as part of a law degree at university. It’s an opportunity to build your understanding of legal skills and knowledge as well as a chance to discover more about Kent Law School’s distinctive, critical approach to teaching law.
