The current VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) service will be withdrawn on 25 July. This service (accessed via desktop.kent.ac.uk), supports the delivery of virtual desktops for the Q Step Project, remote access to some teaching software and access to VDI environments by technical staff.
Please contact the IT Service Desk if you still need to use virtual devices to deliver and manage virtual desktop environments.
We will review and evaluate current requirements to see whether alternative solutions can be recommended where needed.
