You can read e-books or listen to audiobooks for free via the Libby app using your phone, tablet or computer. This is a brief guide to using it, but you can get more help from the official Libby Overview here.
The free Libby app is the easiest way to get started with e-books and audiobooks from The Templeman library. All you need to do is download the app and sign into our library using Kent login credentials to begin browsing the digital collection. Once you’re signed in, you’ll have full access to all our Libby resources.
The Libby app is available here for Android and here for iOS. Using Libby, you can browse, borrow, return and reserve items, as well as downloading them to read or listen to.
The Library’s leisure reading collection via Libby is made up of e-books and audiobooks that are not directly related to your university studies. Choose from a wide range of genres including contemporary fiction, classic fiction, wellbeing and self-help books, themed reading lists such as LGBT titles and Black Asian and Ethnic Minority authored titles, and more! Access all the titles here Libby – University of Kent (libbyapp.com)
If you’re feeling like you need a break from your recommended academic reading, why not explore our ‘Love to Read’ leisure reading collection to try something a little lighter, read a new popular novel or to learn about a new topic?
