Summer is fast approaching and there are a wonderful array of sporting events to enjoy from the Euro’s 2024, the Tour de France, Tennis at Wimbledon, to the Olympics and Paralympics 2024 in Paris.

If you are an avid sports enthusiast (player or observer), we have put together a number of resources to help you enjoy and get into the spirit of these events. If you prefer a more mindful approach to movement then don’t worry we have also included resources that promote rest and relaxation as an important balance to movement.

We also have a physical display in the Templeman Library, so come and have a browse of a range of titles from sporting personalities biographies, sport themed fiction, motivational texts, wellbeing works and a range of activities covered by the content including running, sea swimming, walking and mindfulness.

If you are away form the campus over summer then we have you covered via our online “feelgood” curated collection via Libby of eBook and audio titles for you to engage with – maybe find a few reads to relax with over your summer break.
