Professor David Oliver, an Honorary Professor at Tizard Centre, has been leading on the EURO-NEURO 2018 Project, which completed in January 2019. This project is a collaboration between the European Academy of Neurology and the European Association for Palliative Care and has looked at the collaboration between neurology and palliative care across Europe. Nearly 300 people have completed the on-line questionnaire – 120 neurologists and 175 palliative care specialists from over 23 countries across Europe. Professor David Oliver is planning to present the results at the European Academy of Neurology Congress in Oslo in June 2019 and, following a full analysis, a paper will be completed for publication.
