On the 20th July, we’ll be running a free drop-in interactive workshop at the Jewry Wall Museum in Leicester!
Join us to learn more about fifth century treasure hoards, the objects they contain and how archaeologists investigate, analyse and interpret them. There will be several interactive activities including the chance to handle objects, identify coins, write a short story and build your own late Roman hoard!
The team will also be on hand to answer questions and discuss what late Roman hoards can tell us about everyday life, shifting economic networks and expressions of status.
The workshop is open to all and there is something for everyone. There is no need to book a place.

We look forward to seeing you there!
