One of the changes implemented from the Finance Directorate E&E was establishing a Finance Shared Service team who we anticipated would administer student scholarship payment schedules for Divisions.
It has been agreed that the Scholarships Team will update payment spreadsheets including divisional ones.
Please ensure that all Change of Circumstances and status changes for students who are paid a scholarship that was administered by divisions are forwarded to Scholarships@kent.ac.uk with immediate effect to enable the team to make the appropriate changes to a students payment if they have a change of circumstance, such as intermitting.
Finance Officers who administered divisional scholarship payments no longer need to update payment spreadsheets. If the Finance Officers do have status changes for divisional scholarship students, please forward them to the Scholarships team.
The Scholarships team will make the requested changes on the schedules and send the final payment spreadsheet to the Director of Division or Director of Operations for approval.
