On the morning of 6th June, there will be some disruption accessing UBW due to a planned upgrade of Microsoft Office by Information Services.
- At 8am, UBW will be unavailable to all users while the upgrade is happening.
- Around 9am approximately, users will be allowed access to UBW. An email will be sent to confirm when access is available.
After the upgrade, if you access the Document Archive as part of your role to view Office related file types then you will need to sign in to Microsoft Office 365 (one time only) after your first attempt accessing a file (using your Kent credentials). Also, if you want to view Outlook emails then a few simple steps of initial set up are required, again this should only be required once.

We have also been informed that your remote desktop profile will be deleted as part of the upgrade. If raising journals or registering POP invoices is part of your role, please also follow the guidance below to enable your ‘Auto-Keep’ setting.
