All Finance Staff met again on Monday 17th March in Darwin Conference Suites for the quarterly get together event.
Thanks to everyone who was able to join us at the quarterly get together in Darwin earlier this month. It was great to see so many of you together. Our business for the morning included:
- An update from the Director of Finance on University’s finances, Professional Services Departmental structure changes and implications for Finance. Frank also presented a summary of the All Staff Survey results, which have now been shared with you by email.
- Welcoming a quest speaker, Loretta Finch from HR, who spoke about staff training and professional development available at Kent. Loretta presented a wide range of opportunities for staff to develop skills, increase knowledge and open up then career opportunities within University. - Keeping up with the latest changes within Procurement regulations. Mark Reed, Head Of Procurement, presented a outline of major post-covid changes.
