Financial Shared Services are evolving to support you

From Monday the 3rd February Financial Shared Services is changing in order to evolve, and to support the new school structures.

We are transitioning from being aligned to Divisions to being aligned across functions and improving the way that you can access our service.

The team will operate over three key areas to ensure a smooth response to requests and functions, with your requests automatically being triaged to the appropriate team. This will enhance our provision to schools and those professional services teams that we serve.  We are expecting to see shorter turnaround times on requests and financial functions.

 

Some of this has started already, but from Monday 3rd February 2025 the new Finance Shared Services SharePoint Site will be live and running with all the forms, instructions, and methods to acquire services or provisions that we will offer.  This will be the principal way to contact FSS and access our services.  We will be removing the old divisional email routes to Finance Shared Services, as the new Share point site should have all the routes to the services you might need.

We’ll also be offering an escalation route to enquire about existing requests/tickets too.

We continue to strive to simplify and uniform process, and as time progresses, these developments will only grow as we continue to work on them.
