A Reminder about Procurement Cards
If you have a Procurement Card, you are required to review and approve all transactions. Transactions can be reviewed 2 days after the payment is made; you do not need to wait until 6th of the month when the statement is available. You have until 20th of the month to review transactions, upload receipts and have transactions approved by a manager.
- Company Receipts: Please be reminded that we require users to upload their credit card receipts for each month. If you miss the deadline to upload receipts on SmartData please ensure that copies of the receipts are scanned to the Procurement Office.
- Coding Transactions: Please remember to code all transactions before the 20th of the following month. Transactions after this date will be locked and coding will need to be done via a journal in UBW. Transactions can be coded two days after the payment has been taken, so there is no need to wait until the statement appears on the 6th.
