Travel Update:
As the travel restrictions are eased and national/international travel opens up, the University wants to confirm and clarify the current position with regards to travel. For the time being, and until further notice, national and international travel should only be booked where unavoidable and absolutely necessary. You should not assume you will be able to travel as often you may have done before the Covid-19 pandemic.
National Travel can be booked directly via Key Travel. International Travel can only be booked through the offline team at kent@keytravel.com.
All travel must follow the Employee Personal Expenditure Policy. You must always use the most recent version of the policy.
Please note that in the near future, online bookings may need to be approved by your line manager. A request for travel may not be approved. Travel is more likely to be approved if it is externally funded and / or linked to income generation activity.
Please also be aware that if you are able to be as effective and efficient in fulfilling your aims without travelling, you should not travel. This position will be reviewed over time, and be updated if necessary.
Credit Card Limit Increase Update:
The “Credit Card Limit Increase Request” process (and documentation) has been updated. Please now specify if the funding is external or internal, what the increased expenditure is intended for, and include a project number if applicable.
