We are delighted to confirm that Hripsime Harutiunian has now appointed as a full-time Student Account Controller.
We are currently in the process of recruiting for staff for the call centre. 2 x telephone operators from 1st September – 29th October 2021 and 1 x Admin support to assist with emails and general admin duties from 1st September – 17th December.
The role of a Part-time Student account controller is now vacant and the recruitment process is now underway.
Changes for 2021/22
In previous years, each Student Account Controller within the Income office was allocated students based on their year of study. However with the introduction of the new academic divisions and Kent Vision, each Account Controller will be assigned students based on the Division that they are in. As detailed below, new email accounts have been set up to allow for this new reporting and the old email addresses used for reporting on year of studies will be phased out. This new process will start to take effect from 1 August 2021.
Divisions will be assigned their own Student Account Controller and small working groups will be setup to address student financial issues effectively and efficiently.
The following details the Student Account Controller and their areas of responsibilities:
- Hripsime Harutiunian – CEMS and LSSJ
- Kirsty Newman – ArtHum, KBS and No Div.
- Maddy Kendal-Smith – NatSci, and KMMS
- Vacant Role – HSS and Edu.
- Ellie Lawson – Accommodation, works closely with all the controllers and will help any divisional issues.
