Please join us in welcoming Lesley Macleod to the Finance Department. Lesley is our new interim Director of Finance who will be with us for an initial period of 6 months to support the CFO and her management team and to provide day to day financial leadership and management of the Finance function.
We also have 2 members of staff retiring from the University: Neil Oliver after nearly 30 years of service and Joan Courtice after 15 years of service.
We would like to thank both Joan and Neil for all their years of hard work and wish them a very happy retirement.
As a result of Neil leaving us at the end of September, we will see a number of changes in Finance. These are:
- Adam Pengelly and Paul Beckley from Ecommerce will be transferring across to Student Financial Services (Odette Collard-Woolmer).
- Steve Lawton, Paul Bootes and Bruce Hickmott from the UBW team will be transferring to Frank Richardson along with Ella Wood and Kerrin Terry.
- Emma Rowland, Nicola Bushell, Sam Thomas, Laura Grout, Abbey Hopkins and Alison Foster from the Payments Office will be transferring to Gordon Vernon.
- Vicky Gatward-Warner will be splitting her time between the Payments Office and Financial Reporting (Gordon Vernon and Melanie Nye).
- Richard Douglas will now be responsible for both the Income Office and PCI DSS compliance.
- Gordon Vernon will now be responsible for Payroll, Payments and Insurance.
- Odette Collard-Woolmer will now be responsible for Ecommerce and PCI DSS.
- Frank Richardson will now be responsible for the UBW team and Department administration.
