Expenses Payment Runs Update

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and significant decrease in the volume of expense claims, we are reducing the frequency of expense payments for a trial period.  Expenses payment runs will move to monthly payments for three months.  Payment runs will be timed to ensure that there is no clash with payroll processes.  As this is a trial, we would be grateful for your feedback on this change in frequency so it can be taken into account.

Trial Expense Run Dates

  • Calculated 1st September, Paid on 4th September
  • Calculated 30th September, Paid on 2nd October
  • Calculated 3rd November, Paid on 6th November

Please could you ensure that all claims are submitted and approved punctually to allow for payments to be made as promptly as possible.

Please note that equipment, books, conference bookings and software expenditure should be made using the general procurement card process.  For guidance, please contact your appropriate Finance Officer.
