The post can be taken as a development opportunity secondment. This will require the agreement of your line manager and we are aware that some line managers may be unable to release staff due to existing work commitments. The HR guidance for secondment opportunities is as follows: “Please be aware that a secondment will only be agreed with the current school/department’s agreement. If you wish to apply for this post on a secondment basis please may we ask that you, out of courtesy, inform your current line manager, prior to applying.”
