We have now completed an exercise to review the current chart of accounts and make necessary changes intended to both help with the transition to the new accounting rules (FRS102) and to improve everyday clarity and functionality.
These changes will affect all staff with financial responsibility, whether they are involved in managing budgets, coding transactions or placing orders.
We are currently preparing to release the updated list of account codes together with additional guidance which should aid the transition to the new structure. This should be available before the Christmas holiday period, ready for use from January 2016. It will be circulated by email and updated to the Finance Blog and website.
