In light of several newly approved postgraduate programmes the School of English has extended its MA scholarship deadline for entry in 2015. All students who have made an application to study on an MA programme in the School of English by Friday May 15, 2015 will automatically be considered for a scholarship. The School of English offers a range of specialist MA programmes, some of which offer students the opportunity to study at our Paris centre in the heart of historic Montparnasse. The English MA programmes aim to increase your knowledge of the key elements that make up the complex nature of English and American literature and culture since the Enlightenment. The programmes give a wider and deeper understanding of the writers and areas studied, encourage you to probe the theoretical and scholarly issues which you might explore in further research, and offer opportunities to develop your creative writing.
