Georgia Hingston, an English & American Literature and Creative Writing student, has been awarded a prize in the ERASMUS essay competition.
After submitting her essay on her experience studying abroad, Georgia was awarded the Highly Commended prize, a £75 Amazon voucher to be collected in person from the British Council in London next month.
Georgia, who spent a year in Copenhagen for the third year of her four year degree, said:
“I would say that it is the best thing I have ever done. It has enriched me so much, culturally and as a person. I feel I have a greater sense of self and that it is down to the fantastic people who where so warm and welcoming whom I met from different cultures having come to Denmark from all over the world. I feel truly lucky to have found a real home in Copenhagen.”
