A festival of literature, writing and ideas
The School of English is delighted to announce the launch of the new Summer LitFest, a two-day celebration of our diverse, varied, and creative research — we invite you to join us on our Canterbury campus to share, listen and create around the theme of JOURNEYS.
There will be talks, walks, workshops and readings. All are welcome — students of all stages, staff, and members of the public. This event will be held for all those interested in lively discussion, creativity and ideas. Make sure you REGISTER HERE
The first 20 people to register for ANY event will receive a £5 voucher to spend at Kent Hospitality outlets on campus, including the Gulbenkian Cafe, Rutherford Dining Hall, Bag-it, and Street Kitchen!
You are welcome to come along and listen to staff and students presenting their research and creative projects, or actively participate in writing sessions, readings or research speed-dating. Whether you are a seasoned researcher/writer, just starting out, or looking for new approaches to thinking and writing, we would love for you to get involved.
If you are a PG Arts & Humanities student (MA or PhD) and would like to present your research at the 5-minute lectures, please see the Call for Papers below:
