Everyone at the School of English are proud to congratulate our students who have graduated this week.
Achieving your degree is a great accomplishment, particularly in these challenging times, and we all commend you for your hard work.
We are disappointed that we are not able to celebrate with you in person this summer, but we are very much looking forward to celebrating with you in November 2020 or July 2021.
We are also pleased to confirm this year’s prizes given in recognition of students’ achievements throughout their studies:
- The Stage 2 Literature Prize, awarded to the highest achieving Literature student at stage 2, is awarded to Lauren Drozd, currently studying BA (Hons) English and American Literature and Film with a Year Abroad.
- The Stage 2 Creative Writing Prize, which recognises the highest achieving Creative Writing student at stage 2, is awarded to Rebecca Ann Smith, currently studying BA (Hons) English and American Literature and Creative Writing .
- The Stage 3 Literature Prize, awarded to the highest achieving Literature student in their final year, is awarded to James Sterry, BA (Hons) English and American Literature and Creative Writing.
- The Stage 3 Creative Writing Prize, which recognises the highest achieving Creative Writing student in their final year, is awarded to James Sterry, BA (Hons) English and American Literature and Creative Writing.
