Evie Wyld in conversation for Write Night Online

Evie Wyld, Lecturer in Creative Writing in the School of English, will be in conversation with MA Creative Writing student Wayne Herbert for New Writing South‘s Write Night Online on Thursday 16 April 2020 at 6pm.

New Writing South offers creative writing workshops and a variety of events for aspiring and established writers.

Evie will be in conversation over Facebook Live with Wayne Herbert on the processes of (re-)writing, discovery and editing in her novel-writing practice. Evie’s debut novel, After the Fire, A Still Small Voice (Vintage, 2010), was shortlisted for the Impac Prize and awarded the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Her second, All the Birds, Singing (Vintage, 2014), won the Miles Franklin Prize, the Encore Prize and the EU Prize for Literature, and shortlisted for the Costa Best Novel awards. Her new novel, The Bass Rock (Jonathan Cape), was published last month.
