The first (TEEME) Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Annual Conference took place in Porto on the 16th and 17th November. A range of lectures were given representing the breadth of this unique European collaboration. The Keynote address was given by Professor Bernhard Klein who will be repeating his lecture ‘Sea-birds at the Cape of Storms, c. 1497’ in the School of English as part of the Postcolonial Research Seminar Series.
