Stephen Baxter: In Conversation

Author Stephen Baxter will be discussing his most recent work, The Massacre of Mankind, the authorised sequel to HG Wells' The War of the Worlds.

Author Stephen Baxter once dreamed of walking amongst the stars, having applied to be a cosmonaut in the early 1990’s. The loss to space exploration is fiction’s gain as Baxter has gone on to become of Britain’s most consistently inventive, prolific and successful science fiction writers penning more than forty novels and over a hundred short stories.

Baxter will be visiting Waterstones in Canterbury on Friday the 8th of December to discuss his latest work with Andrew Butler.   Tickets can be booked here and are £3.30.

Stephen Baxter will also be a keynote speaker at 2017: A Clarke Odyssey, being held at Canterbury Christchurch University on the Saturday the 9th of December.
