The School of English is looking forward to hosting two Virtual Open Days on Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July 2020.
If you are thinking about studying English Literature or Creative Writing at university, these events will be exciting opportunities to discover more about our distinctive degree courses in these subjects. Each event will also provide you with an opportunity for you to pose your questions to students and staff from our dynamic and active academic community.

School of English at the University of Kent Open Day, Saturday 4 July 2020, 10am – 2pm
The second of our Virtual Open Days will take place as a part of the University’s Virtual Open Day on Saturday 4 July, from 10am to 2pm.
This day will be a fantastic opportunity for you to get information about fees, funding, and finance; explore our wonderful facilities, including accommodation, virtually; and to find out about student support services available to you throughout your time at Kent.
You will also have the opportunity to watch a presentation video about English at Kent, and to chat to current students and lecturers. School of English lecturing staff present during the day include Dr Sarah James, Dr Juha Virtanen, Professor Vybarr Cregan-Reid, Dr Lara Atkin, Professor David Stirrup, Amy Sackville, Dr Michael Falk, and Dr Claire Hurley. We will also have a live video chat during the day, from 1pm to 2pm.
