Dr Simon Smith will appear as a guest on Radio 4’s In Our Time, the successful discussion series exploring the history of ideas presented by Melvyn Bragg.
Simon will discuss Gaius Valerius Catullus, the first century b.c.e Latin poet of the late Roman Republic who has a lasting influence over poetry to this day.
The show will air on Thursday, 9th January at 09:00 on Radio 4 and should be available as a podcast shortly thereafter.
