We wish to offer our congratulations to Sarah James, Senior Lecturer in Medieval Literature has been appointed the next Head of the School of English from August this year.
Sarah has been working as joint Deputy Head of School with Sarah Dustagheer this year. She takes on the Headship from David Stirrup and Bernhard Klein who have stood as joint Heads of School during the 2018/19 Academic Year. The School offers its sincere gratitude to the management team for providing stability, collegiality and strong leadership over the year.
Those that know Sarah will know that her passion and energy are contagious and we wish her the very best for her tenure as Head.
