Independent publisher Jacaranda has recently launched it’s #Twentyin2020 initiative to promote and “normalise” black writing and authors in the UK. Following a recent donation of £25,000, the campaign has nominated 10 works of fiction, five works of non-fiction and five collections of poetry, written by black British writers, to be published next year.
Amongst the poets selected for publication is Adjoa Wiredu, who studied the MA in The Contemporary, will be working on a project called On Reflection.
We wish Adjoa the best of luck with her project and are looking forward to seeing On Reflection when it is published next year.
