Peer Support for new Foundation and Stage 1 students

Peer mentors

Are you a Foundation Year or Stage 1 student struggling to get to grips with university or finding it difficult to keep up with classes? Help is at hand. We have a fantastic team of peer mentors who are here to support you with your transition to university life and independent study. Peer mentors are students from Stage 2 and above who have received training to help and support other students. Our mentors can provide both pastoral and academic support in a flexible way to suit you. Mentors can help with a variety of topics including developing study skills to become an independent learner, reviewing class materials to help improve your understanding and tips for making the most out of your time at university.
