A new system of postgraduate loans for Master’s degrees in the UK has been introduced for the 2016-17 academic year, available to home and EU students for both full-time and part-time study.
First announced as part of the UK’s Chancellor’s 2014 Autumn Statement, these government-backed student loans have now been reconfirmed as part of the 2015 Spending Review.
The loans will provide up to £10,000 a year for taught and research Masters courses in all subject areas. PhD students will be supported by separate postgraduate research loans.
Full details of the loans can be found here.
