The Economics Observatory features analysis on UK Companies House data, conducted at the school throughout the pandemic, that tells us where and when the recession hit hardest.
Researchers at the school have been assessing what is happening to firm creation in the UK, from the first lockdown, to create an economic picture, including which regions and sectors have recovered faster than others, whats happened to the labour market and which government policies helped small firms recover during the pandemic.
